This year La Encenada is made up of 11 small community producers. The varieties they have are Bourbon, Caturra, and Catuaí.  It has a late harvest due to the altitude, so the harvest season goes from the beginning of February to the end of March.  It has two rounds of picking. The coffee is handpicked and sorted by small producers they also operate the wet mill. The coffee is dried in their own patios. This is an excellent example of high grade sweet, balanced Guatemalan coffee.
